J. Hijazeen (Moa'bite)

I was born and raised in a southern Jordanian village called Smakieh. More than 2800 years ago, Smakieh was part of a kingdom called “The Moa’bite Kingdom” (In Arabic: المملكة المؤابية). A person from Moab was called “Moa’bite” (In Arabic: مؤابيّ). From this historical perspective comes the name of the blog (A Man From Moab) and the nickname (Moa’bite). When I started this blog in May 2007, I was a medical student at Mutah University. In 2013 I got my Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Mutah University in Jordan. After grduation I finished my internship year and then came to Germany to do my medical specialty.
