Hi! I’m Amanda and I am an American citizen from New Jersey. I have lived in three countries; the United States, United Kingdom, and China. In addition, I have been to 22 countries and 19 US states. Blessed with the nickname, Apanda, I model my panda-themed fashion while navigating through this crazy adventure that I call life. Believe it or not, I have not always been as brave as I appear to be. Until I was 22 years old, I never had the confidence to step out of my comfort zone. That all changed once I graduated from undergrad. I took a risk and accepted an ESL teaching job at a university in Bengbu, China. My goal was to obtain fluency in Mandarin, an understanding of Chinese culture and find a career path that was suitable for me. Little did I know that this would set me on the adventure of a lifetime. I hope that my writing can provide people with good information before visiting new places and inspire the traveler inside of everybody.
