I've always loved everything crafts. Someprojects I'm really good at, and some I'm not. But I will try to make anything once! My love for crafts was inspired by a few influences. Growing up, my "Granny", as she is lovingly called, taught me how to sew and make the use of recyclable materials. My Home Economics class in high school (yes, I'm old enough to be part of the group that was required to take Home Ec.!) taught inspired needle working and cooking. It's kind of funny now, but I even made it to a state home ec tournament!! Now, we have a house, a daughter, and countless "adopted" kids via my husband's profession as a Youth Minister. My husband and I have participated in a ton of DIY home renovation projects together and are planning a few more in our future. I love dreaming up crafts for my daughter and me to do together, and I hope she grows up with the same appreciation of making things yourself. And, of course, ministering to kids on a consistent basis means staying on your toes in the craft category! Now, I want to pass these projects on to you! Feel free to use them in your home, with your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, or in your Sunday School/children's church. Great, inexpensive projects that promote fun and bonding are meant to be passed on! Get Your Craft On!
