APV eCoolRoof®

APV eCoolRoof® is a white, field-applied, cool roof coating system engineered to significantly increase the emissivity and total solar reflectance properties of a roof’s surface for a prolonged period of time. The product's reflectivity is warranted for 10 years, (more than 3x longer than conventional elastomeric acrylic coatings) and it is expected to have a lifespan upwards of 20 years! Qualified to meet (and exceed) the Cool Roof Rating Council's (CRRC) standards for cool roof coatings, APV eCoolRoof® provides a number of practical and eco-friendly benefits to property owners, contractors, builders, and architects. APV eCoolRoof® coating system is comprised of two products that work in conjunction to produce the ultimate high performance barrier to the sun’s energy: APV eCoolRoof® with Kynar Aquatec® Topcoat APV eCoolRoof® Elastomeric Acrylic Basecoat The APV eCoolRoof® Topcoat contains Kynar Aquatec® resin, a tough, engineered thermoplastic that offers a unique balance of properties to withstand harsh thermal, chemical and ultraviolet environmental conditions. In essence, it provides APV eCoolRoof® the ability to resist UV degradation, guard against abrasions, restrict the growth of mold and mildew, and repel dirt on a roof’s surface. The APV eCoolRoof® Elastomeric Acrylic Basecoat is specifically formulated to smooth over small surface cracks/holes and function as a tenacious bonding layer for the APV eCoolRoof® topcoat.
