I became aware of the plight and value of beavers when a family transformed my neighborhood wetland into pondfront property teeming with an amazing number and variety of animal and plant life! I also experienced the challenge of dealing with concerns of some neighbors. Thus began my education on finding solutions for some real problems. I became aware of the extreme value of beaverwork for restoring our environmental health and biodiversity that would help combat the damage done by inappropriate human development over hundreds of years. This has fueled my outreach/solutions effort!
