Marcella Leonardi

A fan of "golden age" Hollywood cinema and a scholar of Japanese cinema, Marcella Leonardi is a film critic and professor. She is on the editorial staff of "Sonatine," a website dedicated to classic and contemporary Japanese cinema. She is one of the authors of Gianni Canova's Garzantina di Cinema and has collaborated with, among others, Istituto Luce's "Otto e Mezzo" and the genre magazine "Nocturno." She has written essays for the "Inland" series and has contributed to "Cinefilia Ritrovata," the journal of the Cineteca di Bologna.
