I'm a librarian at the Integrated Sciences and Engineering Library at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I have a BA and MS in Geology (Micropaleontology). I worked in public and environmental health for eleven years. I then abandoned working amid swarms of blackflies or in the freezing rain to enter the civilized and bug-free atmosphere of academia.
