Morgan Anthony Bourque

Attorney at Law
(He/Him) · Houston, TX

Morgan Anthony Bourque grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, in a community that emphasized accountability and practical problem-solving. Those early values stayed with him as he earned a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University, where he also studied communication and speech. He later attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and then South Texas College of Law, where his interest in courtroom advocacy grew through Mock Trial and Moot Court, earning championships in both. During law school, Morgan learned how to break down complex issues, think quickly in demanding moments, and speak directly and steadily to juries. Before starting his own practice, he gained experience across several parts of the justice system. He interned with the United States Attorney’s Office, Department of Justice, Southern District of Texas, as well as the district attorney’s offices in Harris County and Montgomery County. These roles gave him a close look at how investigations begin, how plea decisions are made, and how trial preparation works behind the scenes. He treated each experience as practical training, studying how cases are built and how to address clients' assumptions or errors. After returning to The Woodlands, he began practicing law with his father, whose long experience helped shape the firm’s approach. Their work covers criminal defense, DWI defense, family law, and personal injury matters involving serious injuries or wrongful death. He prepares every case as though it may go to trial, which has contributed to securing more not guilty verdicts in criminal and DWI cases in Montgomery County since 2019 than any other attorney. In family and injury matters, he focuses on how evidence was collected and how an event affected a person’s medical, financial, and social life. His method with clients is organized and straightforward. He begins by discussing their concerns and goals, then builds a clear plan that may involve gathering evidence, preparing witnesses, consulting experts, and setting a timeline. He maintains steady communication, avoids courtroom theatrics, and conducts practice sessions to help clients remain calm and credible during testimony. Living and practicing in The Woodlands influences how he approaches every case, and clients have direct access to him throughout the process. He encourages anyone facing legal trouble to seek help early so evidence can be preserved and a strategy can be formed promptly. With careful preparation and clear communication, Morgan Anthony Bourque continues to help clients make informed decisions about their future.
