Matt Peter

Matt has spent his career at Red Hat collaborating with clients in roles ranging from systems administrator, developer, project manager, and solution architect in the Financial, Healthcare, Media, and Transportation industries. Prior to joining Red Hat, Matt was employed by Capgemini US, LLC. for 5 years as a technology consultant and integration architect, where he worked with clients in the Financial, Consumer Product and Retail Distribution, Telecommunications, Media, and Entertainment sectors. Matt considers his industry experiences building vendor agnostic solutions using COTS and bespoke enterprise products a key differentiator; Matt understands the complexities inherent to heterogeneous IT environments and always puts his clients needs first. He graduated with honors in 2006 from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a minor in International Affairs. His academic tracks included Software Engineering, Database Architecture, Networking, and Security. Matt has had technology and open source in his DNA his entire life. He considers his experiences travelling across the Midwest giving talks at computer trade shows to consumer audiences throughout high school the start of his consulting career.
