Lisbeth Andriessen

Lisbeth Andriessen (Prifogle) served her country as a United States Marine officer and is the author of YELLOW, a memoir about her experiences in Iraq (seeking representation). She is currently working on the sequel titled, YOUR NEXT BOLD MOVE, a what-not-to-do travel memoir that chronicles her two-month adventure through Peru. Lisbeth holds an MFA from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Her essay “Pretty” was published in the literary magazine Poem Memoir Story (University of Alabama) and received honorable mention in the 2012 America’s Best Essay Anthology. Additionally, Lisbeth’s work has been featured online with The Splinter Generation, Citron Review, In the Know Travel, and Hormones Matters. She has two essays in a forthcoming anthology titled Homecoming (So Say We All).
