Sicily Explored by Rosanna

My name is Rosanna Andolfo Park. I was born in England to Italian parents and moved to Sicily at the age of nine where I lived with my mother, maternal grandmother and brother. I grew up in Sicily and studied there up to the college level. Then, after marrying an American, I moved to the USA, where I resumed my studies and became an English teacher. I raised two wonderful children amid some challenging years and the loss of my beloved husband, at a young age. I am now retired from full time teaching. Currently, I live in Virginia, not far from Washington D.C., and visit Sicily a couple times a year. While in Sicily, I enjoy traveling around the island and exploring its beauty, nature and traditions. My blog is an opportunity to share my experiences as I now explore Sicily with the eyes of one who left and returns to enjoy its traditions!
