Hi, I'm Michelle, or Shell, Mum of two growing young daughters and wife. The two passions that I've maintained for most of my life are sewing and learning. I've taught Kindergarten (Preschool) to adults over many years and miss my most recent day job teaching Kindergarten very much. You see I had to stop working suddenly in September 2017 when my world changed with a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Now in remission, following months of treatment and a bone marrow transplant, I'm in the luxurious position of having more time to sew, read and knit than ever before! This blog follows my path of creating my way back to mind and body wellness.
