Helen's Daughter

Recently married graphic artist, amateur photographer. I am a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, friend and nut with a twisted sense of humor. I enjoy my family and friends. I like to travel, sightsee and do some shopping. I like experimenting with food, trying new recipes, altering old standards and making up dishes from ingredients I have on hand or from leftovers. My mom was a great cook and baker and I have many wonderful memories of her expertise. As for my "expertise" ... I feel that I am "simply playing in the kitchen," but I do know when something is good and when it looks great, I photograph it. Speaking of photographs, I love to photograph my home state, Oregon. I love to see the beauty Mother Nature displays in "my own backyard." This takes me back to our vacations with Mom. She’d make sure we looked out the car window and would stop so we could experience the location. She would share information, stories and folklore of each area. She was a great teacher and I am still learning.
