Since turning 30, I have turned my life upside down in more ways than one. The latest escapade in this "life flip" is letting go of our 3-year-old, custom-built Craftsman farmhouse in the boondocks for a Tudor style fixer-upper in one of my favorite neighborhoods in the area. This insanity seems to be the right way to go, but the process of transitioning from my new, dust/mold/dirt-free home in the middle of nowhere to what I hope to be a great opportunity in the best possible area should be funny as hell. I hope to capture the essence of this transition with a smile and perhaps a sardonically raised eyebrow.
