Dave Ellerby

born in Scunthorpe in 1956. educated in a grammar school when it really meant education. graduated from Robert Gordon's in Aberdeen as a pharmacist in 1978. married Louise in 1979. Miriam born in 1982 I was born again in 1983 Frances born in 1985. Bought own pharmacy in 1989. Filled with the Holy Spirit in 1993. Moved to current church in 1993. Set forward as pastor in 1999. Sold pharmacy in 1999. Survived church experience till 2007 2007 onwards - exploring organic/simple/house church as a 'free range christian'. August 2010 my first grandchild Archie Edward Duncan arrived. My first arrow in the quiver! Finlay arrived in 2014 then Felix in 2017. Three really sharp arrows and & a joy to my heart at every encounter. In late 2011 I realised that I had developed a testimony, a personal portfolio with Jesus that just fills me with the most incredible delight. The journey of being alongside my fellowship friends and seeing what Jesus is doing there and being drawn into the beyondness of His path for me is....delicious! 2012 saw me beginning to re-train as a counsellor. 2013 - the annus horribilis. Both parents died, extreme family turbulence and work combined to severely challenge me and my coping skills. June 2014 and along came Finlay Josiah Hutchison - my second arrow. Also now fully qualified as a counsellor and beginning to build my own practice. Now whatever's next Lord? June 2016 and all seems well. Still a free range disciple but sensing changes afoot. Feb 2007 and here is Felix ! Wee man Huge willpower!
